Clayton Kershaw had a rough start as he was tagged early and often by the White Caps.  He gave up seven runs on five hits and four walks with two strikeouts in 1 1/3 innings.  In his previous six starts, he had given up just five earned runs so this game was kind of an outlier.  We’ll have to wait and see how he does next time out and hopefully he’ll get back into his groove.

Josh Bell provided most of the offense in the 12-5 loss.  He went three for four with a double, a homerun, two RBIs and two runs.
