Inland Empire Loses to Quakes In Twelve Innings

by @ 11:25 pm. Filed under Jesus Castillo, Inland Empire 66ers - May 2007, James Tomlin

Talk about a crazy game. Inland Empire and the Quakes took a scoreless game into the twelth before both teams exploded for a combined eleven runs in just the one inning.  Unfortunately, Inland Empire was on the short end of things and they lost 7-4.  A really nice start by Jesus Castillo went to waste.  He gave up two hits and two walks with five strikeouts in sevens shutout innings.

James Tomlin was at the center of Inland Empires four run twelth.  He doubled home two runs and then later scored in the inning.
