They need to take their time and wait for their pitch or close to the pitch. Stop swinging at the first pitch. Watch the pattern of the opponent's pitcher and study him, it's not hard. Once you do that, the rest will come to you. I know I taught my boys baseball and I am their mother. Keep up the diligent work and I'll be back daily. While I'm pulling for LaRoche to make the big league team, I do want to see what Wilson Betemit can do as an everyday 3rd baseman. Both are young with power but Betemit has the experience and as Colleti has shown, he'll take experience any day of the week (see the Luis GOONzalez signing among others). Too bad LaRoche isn't an outfielder too............then we could ship GOONzalez back to the dessert! Nice to see someone on top of things. Keep up the diligent work and I’ll be back daily.
