The Suns made it four straight with back to back doubleheader sweeps over Carolina. In the first game, A.J. Ellis doubled and drove in three runs while Xavier Paul was a perfect two for two with a homerun, a walk and two runs scored. Ramon Troncoso picked up the win but he was more in the right place at the right time as he threw a shutout seventh inning. It was an impressive inning as he didn’t give up a baserunner and he struck out two.
The Suns took care of Mobile today with a 5-3 win. Jimmy Rohan went two for three with two RBIs while Wilkin Ruan had a nice game and he went two for three with a triple and two runs. Xavier Paul also had a nice day at the plate and he went one for two with two walks and two runs.

The Suns lost 3-2 and the offense never really got going in this one. Xavier Paul hit a two run homer to account for the two Suns runs and no other hitter even had an extra base hit.
A nice start by Giuseppe Norrito went to waste in the loss. He gave up two runs on seven hits with three strikeouts in 6 2/3 innings.
Jacksonville got plenty of offense in their 10-3 win over the Barons and it was a nice team effort. Six different Suns’ had two hits and three different Suns drove in two runs. Xavier Paul did it all and he went two for five with a homerun, two RBIs and two runs.

I’m not sure what is worse, the one hit the offense picked up or the thirteen runs that the pitchers yielded. Ironcally, Xavier Paul reached base twice with a single and a walk and the only other time a Sun reached base was on one walk.
Michael Megrew was hit hard and he took the loss. He gave up eight runs on nine hits and three walks with four strikeouts in four innings of work.
