Miguel Pinango fell to 2-4 on the season with a tough start in Vegas’ 10-3 loss to Tucson. His tough inning was the second. After a two out fielding error, he gave up a pair of two run homers that axcounted for his four unearned runs. He gave up two more in the sixth for a total of six runs.
Wilkin Ruan went two for three with an RBI and a run in the loss. Choo Freeman went two for four with a double and a run.
Vegas finally won a game and Wilkin Ruan led the way at the plate in the 10-7 win. He went two for four with a homerun and four RBIs. Octavio Martinez went two for four with a triple, an RBI and two runs scored.
Spike Lundberg improved to 4-4 on the season with a decent start. He gave up three runs on five hits and two walks with six strikeouts in six innings.
Zachary Hammes fell to 0-3 on the season with a tough start in the Suns 8-5 loss to Mobile. He gave up four runs (three earned) on five hits and a walk with five strikeouts in 3 2/3 innings.
Wilkin Ruan was the hitting star in the loss. He went two for five with a run and an RBI.
The Suns took care of Mobile today with a 5-3 win. Jimmy Rohan went two for three with two RBIs while Wilkin Ruan had a nice game and he went two for three with a triple and two runs. Xavier Paul also had a nice day at the plate and he went one for two with two walks and two runs.
Wesley Wright picked up the win with two shutout innings of relief. He gave up one hit and he struck out one.
Zachary Hammes had a rough start in the Suns 7-2 loss to the Barons. He gave up four runs on seven hits and one strikeout in five innings of work and the loss drops him to 0-2 on the season.
Marshall McDougall hit a solo homerun in the loss. Wilkin Ruan reached base three times with two singles and a walk.
Eric Cyr got it done on the mound for the Suns in their 4-2 win over Mobile. He gave up just two runs on seven hits and one walk with four strikeouts in six innings of work. The win pushes Cyr to 3-1 on the season.
Anthony Raglani provided most of the offense with two double and three RBIs. John Lindsey hit a solo homerun and Wilkin Ruan was a perfect four for four with two doubles and a run.
