Not only did Marlon Arias give up five runs in 2 1/3 innings in his start, but Jordan Pratt gave up four more in his three innings to truly blow the five run lead the hitters game them in the second innings. Pratt took the loss and he fell to 2-4 on the season.
Ryan Rogowski was the hitting star in the 10-5 loss. He went two for five and he drove in five runs.
Inland Empire beat Lake Elsinore 8-2 and Ryan Rogowski had a big day at the plate. He went three for four with a double, a triple, three runs and an RBI. Adam Godwin went three for four with a double, two RBIs and two runs.
Javy Guera improved to 3-2 on the season with the win. He gave up two runs (one earned) on four hits with six strikeouts.
Jason Schmidt was sharp in his rehab start for Inland Empire and he helped in the 2-1 win over the Quakes. He gave up two hits and a walk with seven strikeouts in six shutout innings.
Ryan Rogowski was the hitting star in the win. He went two for four with a double and an RBI.
Ryan Rogowski had a big day at the plate in Inland Empire’s 11-8 win. He went two for three with a homerun, five RBIs and two runs. Blake Dewitt also had a nice game and he went four for five with two doubles.
Francisco Felix picked up the win and he improved to 1-1 on the season. He gave up three runs on five hits and four walks with five strikeouts in five innings.
The Ports took care of Inland Empire 4-2 with a pretty good outing by James McDonald going to waste. He gave up one run on two hits with seven strikeouts in six innings of work.
There’s not much in the way of hitting highlights in this one. Ryan Rogowski had the only extra base hit for Inland Empire with a double and he scored one of the two runs.
Inland Empire scored four runs in the first inning and while that’s all they got, it was enough to pick up the 4-3 win. Lucas May doubled, drove in one and scored and Ryan Rogowski went two for five with a double and his seventh stolen base.
Javy Guerra picked up the win with five decent innings. He gave up three runs on four hits and five walks with four strikeouts.
Inland Empire fell a run short of a nice comeback but lost it 6-5 to High Desert. Ryan Rogowski had a nice game at the plate. He went three for five and both scored and drove in a run.
Jesus Castillo took the loss and he dropped to 0-3 on the season. He gave up six runs in five relief innings.
Inland Empire was pretty much shut down in their loss to the Quakes. They managed just one run on seven hits with Ryan Rogowski and Lucas May picking up two a piece.
James McDonald took the loss in a mixed start. He did give up four runs on five hits but he gave up just a single walk and he struck out eight in 4 2/3 innings.
