The Raptors were beat up by Billings 11-3 and it was Blake Brannon who took the loss. He gave up four runs on in four innings and the loss dropped him to 0-1 on the season. Both relievers used gave up runs as well.
There weren’t many hitting highlights but Austin Gallagher did reach base twice. He singled, drew a walk and scored a run.
Robert Blevins improved to 2-0 on the season with a nice start in the Raptors 8-2 win over Great Falls. He gave up one run on three hits and one walk with six strikeouts in five innings of work.
Jovanny Rosario was the hitting star in the win. He went three for five with a homerun, three RBIs and two runs. Austin Gallagher went two for two with a walk, a solo homerun and two runs.
The Raptors finally ended their nine game skid and they did it with an impressive offensive attack in a 12-7 win over Great Falls. There were plenty of hitting stars but Brian Mathews was a notch above the rest. He went three for four with a double, a homerun, four RBIs and three runs.
Given Kutz picked up the win and he improved to 1-0 on the season. He gave up one run on three hits in 2 2/3 inning of solid relief.
The Raptors were blown out by Billings 10-2 and the loss was their eighth straight. Douglas Brooks took the loss and he fell to 1-4. He gave up six runs on seven hits and three walks with three strikeouts in four innings of work.
The Raptors got both of their runs on one swing of the bat. Travis Vetters belted a two run homer in the seventh inning to put the Raptors on the board.
The Raptors continued their tough stretch as they lost their seven straight game with an 8-6 loss to Billings. Jon Haldis gave up two runs in the ninth and he took the loss while a solid start by Robert Blevins went to waste. He gave up seven hits and he struck out four in six shutout innings.
Brian Mathews had a nice day at the plate. He went three for four with a homerun, two RBIs and two runs. Kenley Jansen went three for five with two runs.
The Raptors lost their fifth straight game overall and they lost three straight in a sweep at the hands of Great Falls. Kristopher Krise was knocked around and he took the loss. He gave up five runs on six hits and two walks with two strikeouts in three innings.
Elian Herrera had a nice day at the plate. He went three for three with a walk, a run and an RBI.
The Raptors continued their struggles with their fourth straight loss. Michael Gardner took the loss in a tough start and he fell to 2-2 on the season. He gave up four runs (three earned) on ten hits and one walk with three strikeouts in 5 2/3 innings. Wilfredo Diaz was bombed for five runs and he was able to get only one hitter out.
Jovanny Rosario went two for four with a double and two RBIs in the 9-4 loss. Jaime Pedroza doubled twice and he scored a run.
Kenley Jansen shined despite the Raptors 4-2 loss to Idaho Falls. He went three for four and he scored both of the Raptor’s two runs in the game.
Joseph Jones took the loss and he fell to 0-3 on the season. He gave up three runs (just one earned) on six hits and two walks with two strikeouts in five innings.
