Despite being in last place, Vegas continued their impressive run and won their ninth straight game. Andy LaRoche went two for five with a homerun and four RBIs. Marshall McDougall went three for five with a double, a homerun, three RBIs and two runs while Chin Lung Hu continued his impressive season with another great game. He went three for four with a double, an RBI and four runs.
Miguel Pinango improved to 6-4 on the season with the win. He gave up four runs (three earned) on five hits and two walks with six strikeouts in six innings of work.
Miguel Pinango fell to 2-4 on the season with a tough start in Vegas’ 10-3 loss to Tucson. His tough inning was the second. After a two out fielding error, he gave up a pair of two run homers that axcounted for his four unearned runs. He gave up two more in the sixth for a total of six runs.
Wilkin Ruan went two for three with an RBI and a run in the loss. Choo Freeman went two for four with a double and a run.
Luis Maza was perfect at the plate in Las Vegas’ 5-3 win over the River Cats. He went three for three with a walk, a run and an RBI. John Lindsey also had a nice game. He went two for four with a homerun and two RBIs.
Miguel Pinango had a decent enough start but he wasn’t able to pick up the win. He gave up two runs (one earned) on four hits and four walks with six strikeouts in five innings of work.
A pretty nice start by Miguel Pinango went to waste in Las Vegas’ 2-1 loss to Tuscon. He gave up just five hits and three walks with five strikeouts in five shutout innings.
Vegas hitters managed only six hits in the loss. Wilson Valdez doubled and he scored the only run for Vegas.
Las Vegas managed just three hits in their 3-0 loss to Fresno. There were no extra base hits and no Vegas hitter reached base more then once in the loss.
Miguel Pinango dropped to 2-2 on the season in the loss. He gave up three runs on four hits and two walks with four strikeouts in six innings.
Luis Maza had a big day at the plate in Las Vegas’ 8-6 win over Tacoma. He went four for five with a double, two RBIs and two runs.
Miguel Pinango was hit hard in his start but the pen picked him up. Casey Hoorelbeke threw two frames and he gave a run to pick up the win.
Miguel Pinango was roughed up by Lancaster today in a 7-2 loss. He gave up six runs on eight hits and a walk with four strikeouts in four innings of work.
Lucas May drove in both Inland Empire runs on two hits. Ivan DeJesus went two for four with a walk and a run.
