Marlon Arias Is Hit Hard in Inland Empire Loss

Marlon Arias fell to 10-3 on the season with a tough start in Inland Empire’s 8-2 loss to Lake Elsinore.  He gave up six runs (five earned) on ten hits and two walks with three strikeouts in four innings of work.

Andrew Locke was the hitting star in the loss.  He went two for four with a triple and a run.

Marlon Arias Pitches Inland Empire to Win Over Quakes

Marlon Arias improved to 9-1 on the season with another nice start in Inland Empire’s 8-4 win over the Quakes.  He gave up one run on three hits and a walk with three strikeouts in six innings of work.

Jamie Hoffmann had a big day at the plate in the win.  He went three for four with three RBIs and a run.

Inland Empire’s Pitching Shelled By San Jose

Not only did Marlon Arias give up five runs in 2 1/3 innings in his start, but Jordan Pratt gave up four more in his three innings to truly blow the five run lead the hitters game them in the second innings.  Pratt took the loss and he fell to 2-4 on the season.

Ryan Rogowski was the hitting star in the 10-5 loss.  He went two for five and he drove in five runs.

Shane Justis Had Four Hits, Three RBIs In Inland Empire Win

Shane Justis led Inland Empire at the plate in their 8-2 win over Lake Elsinore.  He went four for four with a triple, a walk, three RBIs and two runs.  Blake DeWitt went three for five with a double, a run and an RBI.

Marlon Arias improved to 6-1 on the season with a nice start.  He gave up two runs on six hits and two walks with four strikeouts in five innings.

Marlon Arias Pitches Inland Empire to Win Over Lancaster

Marlon Arias improved to 5-1 on the season with a decent enough start in Inland Empire’s 4-3 win over Lancaster.  He gave up three runs on three hits and four walks with two strikeouts in 5 2/3 innings.

Russell Mitchell hit a solo homerun in the win.  It was his ninth homerun of the season.  Jamie Hoffmann went two for four with a run.

Blake DeWitt Drives In Two, Reaches Base Four Times In Inland Empire Win

Inland Empire beat High Dessert 5-4 and Blake DeWitt was one of the hitting stars. He went one for two with three walks and two RBIs.  Gabriel Gutierrez also had a geat day at the plate and he went three for four with two runs.

Marlon Arias picked up the win and he improved to 4-1 on the season.  He gave up three runs on six hits and one walk with four strikeouts in five innings.

Ivan DeJesus Drives In Two Runs In Inland Empire Win

Inland Empire topped Modesto 6-3 and Ivan DeJesus provided a nice piece of the hitting with a solid game at the plate.  He went two for four with a triple and two RBIs.  Blake DeWitt also had a nice game and he went two for four with a double and two runs.

Marlon Arias picked up the win with five solid innings.  He gave up two runs on seven hits and a walk with five strikeouts.

Marlon Arias Hit Hard in Inland Empire Loss

Yhency Brazoban took the loss in this one but it was Marlon Arias who gave up the bulk of the damage in Inland Empire’s loss to Lancaster.  He gave up five runs on seven hits and two walks with six strikeouts in 5 1/3 innings.

Lucas May hit his seventh homerun of the season in the 8-3 loss.  Travis Denker went one for three with a run and an RBI.

Inland Empire Comes From Behind in Win Over High Dessert

Down 5-4, Inland Empire tied the game with a run in the sixth and then took the lead with a run in the seventh in their 6-5 win over High Dessert.  Andrew Locke hit the only homerun for Inland and he finished with two runs.  Russell Mitchell also had a nice day at the plate.  He went three for five with a double and two RBIs.

Marlin Arias was hit hard in his start but the hitters and the pen picked him up.  He gave up five runs in 4 1/3 and Cory Wade improved to 4-0 on the season with 2 2/3 shutout innings in which he struck out three.

Russell Mitchel Doubles Inland Empire to Win

Russell Mitchell had a big game at the plate in Inland Empire’s 4-3 win.  He went three for four with two doubles, two RBIs and a run.  David Nicholson doubled and drove in two runs.

Marlon Arias gave up two runs on five hits and three walks in 4 1/3 innings in his start.  Cory Wade picked up the win in relief and he improved to 3-0.  He threw 3 2/3 no hit innings and he struck out five in an impressive outing.
