Marlon Arias fell to 10-3 on the season with a tough start in Inland Empire’s 8-2 loss to Lake Elsinore. He gave up six runs (five earned) on ten hits and two walks with three strikeouts in four innings of work.

Inland Empire beat High Dessert 5-4 and Blake DeWitt was one of the hitting stars. He went one for two with three walks and two RBIs. Gabriel Gutierrez also had a geat day at the plate and he went three for four with two runs.

Inland Empire topped Modesto 6-3 and Ivan DeJesus provided a nice piece of the hitting with a solid game at the plate. He went two for four with a triple and two RBIs. Blake DeWitt also had a nice game and he went two for four with a double and two runs.

Yhency Brazoban took the loss in this one but it was Marlon Arias who gave up the bulk of the damage in Inland Empire’s loss to Lancaster. He gave up five runs on seven hits and two walks with six strikeouts in 5 1/3 innings.
Lucas May hit his seventh homerun of the season in the 8-3 loss. Travis Denker went one for three with a run and an RBI.
Down 5-4, Inland Empire tied the game with a run in the sixth and then took the lead with a run in the seventh in their 6-5 win over High Dessert. Andrew Locke hit the only homerun for Inland and he finished with two runs. Russell Mitchell also had a nice day at the plate. He went three for five with a double and two RBIs.
Marlin Arias was hit hard in his start but the hitters and the pen picked him up. He gave up five runs in 4 1/3 and Cory Wade improved to 4-0 on the season with 2 2/3 shutout innings in which he struck out three.
Russell Mitchell had a big game at the plate in Inland Empire’s 4-3 win. He went three for four with two doubles, two RBIs and a run. David Nicholson doubled and drove in two runs.
Marlon Arias gave up two runs on five hits and three walks in 4 1/3 innings in his start. Cory Wade picked up the win in relief and he improved to 3-0. He threw 3 2/3 no hit innings and he struck out five in an impressive outing.
