The Suns scored nine runs in the final two frames in today’s game but that merely pulled them to within a run of tying the game in a 13-12 loss to West Tennessee. Just about everyone was a hitting star in this one. Anthony Raglani went two for four with a double, a homerun, three RBIs and two runs while Luke Allen finished with three runs.
Michael Megrew was hammered and he took his first loss of the season. He gave up eleven runs (seven earned) on fourteen hits and three walks with four strikeouts in six innings.
William Juarez threw seven shutout innings and he gave up seven hits in the start. He walked two and struck out two in the win. Almost as impressive was Jonathan Meloan. He pitched two perfect innings and he struck out five of the six batters he faced.
Second baseman Luis Maza went two for four with a triple and two RBIs. Anthony Raglani also tripled and he drove in two. Luke Allen singled, drew a walk and scored twice.
