Inland Empire took a 1-0 lead in their series with Lake Elsinore in a fourteen inning game that clocked in at four hours.  The game winner was an RBI double by Jamie Hoffman that pushed home the winning run.

Javy Guerra was awesome in four innings of shutout relief.  He did give up two hits and two walks but he struck out six and he more importantly, he picked up the win.

James McDonald dropped to 4-5 on the season with a tough start in Inland Empires 10-8 loss to High Dessert.  He gave up seven runs on nine hits and one walk with six strikeouts in four innings.

Jamie Hoffmann went three for four with two RBIs and a run.  Russell Mitchell went three for five with a solo homerun.

Alberto Bastardo took the loss in Inland Empire’s 16-8 blowout loss to Lancaster.  He gave up seven runs on nine hits and one walk with two strikeouts in just two innings.  Each of the subsequent three relievers all gave up runs as well.

Blake Dewitt went four for five with a run and an RBI.  Jamie Hoffman went three for four with two RBIs and a run.

Inland Empire’s pitching gave up nineteen runs on nineteen hits in their 19-7 loss.  Jordan Pratt was hit the hardest and he took the loss.  He gave up seven runs in 1 1/3 innings.

Jamie Hoffman drove in three runs in the loss.  Russell Mitchell had three hits, a run and an RBI.

James McDonald threw a gem in Inland Empire’s 5-0 win over Stockton.  He gave up three hits and he didn’t walk a single batter and he struck out nine in seven shutout innings.  The win pushes his record to 3-3 on the season.

Jamie Hoffman was the hitting star. He went two for three with a homerun, three RBIs and two runs.

Javy Guerra took it on the chin in Inland Empire’s 11- loss to Stockton.  He gave up five runs on seven hits and three walks with one strikeout in 2 2/3 innings.

Russell Mitchell drove in the only run for Inland Empire.  Jamie Hoffmann went two for three with a walk and he scored the only run.

While Javy Guerra didn’t have a horrible start, it wasn’t great either and he gave up two runs in four innings.  Fortunately the pen was awesome.  Jordan Pratt threw three shutout innings to pick up the win and Brent Leach struck out four in two shutout frames for the save.

Jamie Hoffmann had a big game at the plate.  He went two for four with a homerun and two RBIs.

Inland Empire and High Desert combined for 26 runs and 31 hits in their game today.  Jamie Hoffman drove in four runs and scored three times while Blake DeWitt drove in three runs and scored four.

The pitching lines were pretty ugly to start.  Ramon Troncoso pitched three scoreless shutout innings and he picked up the win.

Jamie Hoffman had a monster day at the plate last night in the 66ers 9-7 win over High Desert.  He went four for five with a homerun, three RBIs and three runs scored.  Shortstop Ivan De Jesus also had a good game with two doubles, an RBI and one run scored.

Alberto Bastardo had a rough game in the opening day start.  He gave up four runs on five hits and four walks with two strikeouts in 3 2/3 innings of work.
