Dodgers Minor League Baseball Blog

The GCL Dodgers took care of the GCL Mets 8-3 and Johan Garcia scored three of those eight runs. He went one for one with a walk. Andrew Lambo had a nice game as well and he went one for two with a double, two RBIs and two runs.

Eric Thompson pitched all five innings for the Dodgers in the rain shortened game. He gave up three runs on four hits and one walk with one strikeout and the win pushed his record to 1-0 on the season.

Kyle Smit picked up the win in GCL Dodger’s 5-1 win over the GCL Marlins.  He gave up just one run on three hits and a walk with seven strikeouts in six impressive innings.  Reliever Eric Thompson pitched a nice game as well and he gave up just one hit in three scoreless innings.

Johancy Guzman went one for three with two walks and two runs.  Pedro Baez tripled, drove in two and scored a run.
