The Raptors lost their fifth straight game overall and they lost three straight in a sweep at the hands of Great Falls. Kristopher Krise was knocked around and he took the loss. He gave up five runs on six hits and two walks with two strikeouts in three innings.
Elian Herrera had a nice day at the plate. He went three for three with a walk, a run and an RBI.
Cal Stanke dropped to 0-1 on the season in the Raptors 4-3 loss to Casper. He gave up three runs on five hits with five strikeouts in four innings of relief.
Elian Herrera doubled and drove in two runs in the loss. Kenley Jensen belted a solo homerun.
Just about everyone was a hitting star in the Raptors 13-8 win over Casper but Jamie Ortiz was a notch above the rest. He went two for five with a homerun, four RBIs and two runs. Elian Herrera went three for five with a triple, an RBI and two runs.
Eduardo Quintana picked up the win with 2 1/3 innings of no-hit relief. He walked one and struck out four.
The 66ers poured on the offense as they racked up eleven runs on sixteen hits in their 11-6 win over High Desert. Lucas May led the way with the stick. He went three for three with a double, a homerun, two walks, two RBIs and three runs. Elian Herrera had two hits and three RBIs and Blake DeWitt hit a solo homerun.
The pitching wasn’t as good except for Cory Wade and he improved to 2-0. He threw 2 1/3 shutout innings and he struck out three.
