Los Angeles Dodgers Minor League Baseball Commentary and Analysis

From January 7 through January 15, the Dodgers will get an early look at some of the players they expect could have an impact on the big league club in 2011. Sixteen players (eight pitchers, eight position players) will take part in the developmental minicamp for the week which will allow the Dodgers a chance to see who’s worthy and who’s not.
There’s a ton of talent showing up. Robby De La Rosa was the best pitcher in the Dodgers organization and he’ll be there. Former top minor league players Dee Gordon and Jerry Sands will also be there.
This is the fourth time the Dodgers have had the camp and seven players from last year’s camp played for the Dodgers at some point in 2010. Think of it as a big group workout but it’s a chance to get into the spotlight.
