The Loons were double bageled as they were shutout in both of their games against Fort Wayne. In game one, a solid start by Johsua Wall went to waste. He gave up just one run on one hit and two walks with three strikeouts in seven innings. Eduardo Perez’s single was the only baserunner for the Loons.
In game two, the hitting still wasn’t there but the pitching was hit hard as well. And the hitters picked up just two singles to make for a pathetic doubleheader.
Not only did Marlon Arias give up five runs in 2 1/3 innings in his start, but Jordan Pratt gave up four more in his three innings to truly blow the five run lead the hitters game them in the second innings. Pratt took the loss and he fell to 2-4 on the season.
